PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a fixed load to a trainee according to the ability of the trainee by providing such a structure as to be capable of regulating the load added in pulling a cord member by regulating the discharge pressure of a hydraulic pump operated by the rotating power of the rotating shaft of a drum rotated by the pulling of the cord member. SOLUTION: In the use of a training machine 1, for example, to train for the back throw, the opening and closing state of a pressure control valve 8 is regulated while visually confirming a pressure gauge 9 according to the ability of a trainee. When a judo band 2b is pulled in the manner of the back throw, a steel wire 2 is pulled out from a drum 3, and the rotating shaft 3a of the drum 3 is thus rotated. When the rotating shaft 3a of the drum 3 is rotated, the shaft 6a of a hydraulic pump 6 is connected to the rotating shaft 3a of the drum 3 by a one-way clutch mechanism 5, and the shaft 6a of the hydraulic pump 6 is rotated to actuate the hydraulic pump 6. At this time, the flow rate of the oil flowing form the hydraulic pump 6 to a discharge pipe 7b is limited, and a load is applied to the rotation of the shaft 6a.
