<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene random copolymer and its composition which are excellent in moldability and suitable for molding medical containers excellent in transparency, flexibility, impact resistance, heat resistance, etc., and a medical container made therefrom, SOLUTION: The propylene random copolymer for medical containers is made by copolymerizing propylene and other 2-10Cα-olefin in the presence of a metallocene catalyst, the content of otherα-olefin being 0.5-8.0 mol%, and satisfies the requirements for the characteristics (1) a melt flow rate of 0.1-30 g/10 min at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16 kg as determined by the method of JIS K 7210, (2) a maximum fusion peak temperature with a differential scanning calorimeter of 120 deg.C or higher, and (3) a flexural stiffness of 7,000 kg/cm2 or lower as determined by the method of JIS K 7106.</p> |
