<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fiber rope that can increase the strength utilization of high-strength and low-elongation fiber, causes no variation in its hardness and flexibility, even when the cross section of the high-strength and low elongation fiber layer would be alter in the same rope diameter, scarcely occurs deformation of the rope during the use, resists strength deterioration due to the disturbance in the yarn arrangement and does not fall into disability, even when the outer layer is broken. SOLUTION: A resin-coating layer is applied, as an intermediate layer, on the outer periphery of the inner layer comprising high-strength, low elongation fibers. The high-strength low-elongation fibers or general-purpose fibers or their mixed fibers are wound around the outer layer 1c to constitute the strand 1, then a plurality of the strands are twisted to the rope.</p> |
