PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open/closing panel structure for a vehicle which may be kept in high rigidity while restraining its manufacturing cost without complicating its structure. SOLUTION: The outer periphery edges of an outer panel 12 and an inner panel 13 are joined together and the approximate centers recessed in the direction of closely contacting each other are joined together to form an overlapped area, whereby box sectional portions 27a, 27b ranging to each other are formed on the outer periphery of the overlapped area, and a first part storage 22 is formed in the outer panel 12 and a second part stage recess 25 is formed in the inner panel 13.
