PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the impact dot displacement amount among a plurality of nozzles, particularly in the sub scanning direction so as to form a high grade image and reduce bleeding by butting and jointing a butting part provided on a side of a recording head surface provided with a plurality of ejecting opening rows, with a butting receiving part in a carriage. SOLUTION: A recording head unit 1 comprises an ejecting block 2 including two ejecting opening rows 5a, 5b comprising 128 pieces of 300 dpi ejecting openings disposed integrally in the main scanning direction on a holder 3, with an ink supplied from a tank 4. In this case, an X butting 12 is formed in a plate-like shape in the main scanning direction as well as Y buttings 6A, 6B are formed in a plate-like shape in the sub scanning direction with respect to the ejecting block 2. The plate-like parts are butted and jointed with a carriage mounting the unit 1. In the case dots to be provided from the ejecting opening rows 5a, 5b onto the same pixel are displaced, the butting part disposed in the direction of the dot displacement is cut back by the amount according to the displacement amount so that the cut back surface is jointed with the butting receiving part of the carriage.
