METHOD FOR INJECTION-MOLDING INSERT MOLDED ITEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of an insert member and the damaging of the outer frame of an outer peripheral part from being generated and easily alleviate stress on the outer peripheral part of molded products and further curtail the number of molding dies and molding manhours with the simplification of working procedures in production and efficiently manufacture insert molded items at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a method for injection-molding insert molded items by which the periphery of a platelike or a sheetlike insert member 1 made of a synthetic resin material 3 is wrapped by an outer frame 2 made of a synthetic resin material into one piece, the outer frame 2 is constituted integrally of a body part 21 and a connecting part 12 consisting of a lower member 22 and an upper member 23 which pinch the insert member 1 from both upper/lower faces through a hinge part 11. Further the upper member 23 is folded at the hinge part 11 and set in place and the connecting part 12 is removed to serve as an insertion part 13. Next the insert member 1 is introduced through the insertion part 13 and the outer frame 2 is set in the cavity of a product molding die 14. Finally the synthetic resin material 3 is injection into the outer peripheral part of the insert member 1 to integrate the outer frame 2 with the insert member 1.
