PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the blowoff direction of a pressure valve, to improve assembling and disassembling performances, and to reduce the cost by providing a hole or more in a cylinder part of the pressure valve and by attaching a C-type clip member in the cylinder part in the pressure valve forming a refrigerant relief valve provided in a refrigerant compressor. SOLUTION: A pressure valve 10 is provided with a pressure valve body 1 with a connection part 3 threadly engaged with a discharge side of a refrigerant compressor aligned in one end and the pressure valve body 1 incorporates a valve member opened in an abnormal time such as reaching a prescribed pressure or more. The pressure valve body 1 has a relatively small diameter cylinder part 7 in the intermediate part, a hole part extending along the central axial direction of the valve body 1 is formed from a connecting part 3 to the cylinder part 7, and a radial discharge hole 11 communicating the hole part with the outer circumferential face of the cylinder part 7 is formed. A C-type clip member 2 having a notch 12 in a part of its circumference is elastically fitted to the cylinder part 7 and, when discharging abnormal high pressure, it is discharged via discharge hole 11, a groove 13 of the ring member 12, and the notch 12.
