PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foundation flashing and fitting construction of the foundation flashing which can conceal the vicinity of the upper face of a foundation from the outside, and can easily spread finish mortar on the front face of the foundation, when the foundation flashing is afterwards inserted between an outer wall material and a reinforcing plate. SOLUTION: This foundation flashing 10 is provided with an insert part 11, a flashing part 12, and a parting part 13. Hereat, after inserting the insert part 11 of the foundation flashing 10 between the lower end part of an outer wall material 7 and a reinforcing plate 6, by fixing the foundation flashing 10 with the reinforcing plate 6, the flashing function is exhibited by the flashing part 12, and by positioning the extreme end part of the parting part 13 lower than the upper face of a foundation 1, the vicinity of the upper face of the foundation 1 is concealed from the outside by the parting part 13.
