PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new welding method without having any conspicuous welding joint between flooring materials and a new welding rod used therefor even when the welding rod having the same color as that of the flooring material is not selected when the floor materials are to be welded. SOLUTION: This welding method for flooring materials and a welding rod used therefor are so constituted that the surface layer consisting of a synthetic resin layer of flooring materials has a layer thicker than the depth of a groove suitable to cut out it for embedding the welding rod when the flooring materials having at least the surface layer of the synthetic resin layer are welded by using the welding rod and that a transparent and colorless synthetic resin composition is used for the welding rod. |
