PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet enabling easy passing of skull temples of eyeglasses by a rider wearing the helmet even if the ear cup is closely contacted with the temple, free from disagreeable feeling caused by the pressure of the skull temple after wearing the eyeglasses and effective for preventing the misassemble of the right and left ear cups. SOLUTION: Ear cups 4, 5 are attached to the inside of the main body 2 of a helmet 1 covering the head of a rider. The ear cups 4, 5 have a nearly C-shaped plane form enclosing the ear from the front side and are provided with recesses 20, 21 for passing the skull temples.
