GRILL BURNER INGITING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge surely at a position near the passage unit of gas to ignite the same by a method wherein the arraying direction of lattice type burner ports on the combustion surface of a grill burner is constituted so as to have an angle with respect to the discharging direction of an igniting electrode so that both of them will not become parallel in a plan view while an ignition electrode attaching plate is configured so as not to intercept the gas. SOLUTION: A grill burner is provided with a grill burner combustion surface, provided with lattice type flame ports 2 formed thereon, and is fixed to a grill case 5 having an opening unit for mounting the grill burner. An igniting electrode 6 is constituted of a L-shape electrode 7 and an insulator 8. An igniting electrode mounting plate 9 is formed by press so as to have an igniting electrode mounting unit and is provided with a tip end flat surface unit 10. The ignition electrode mounting plate 9 is attached to the flange unit of the grill case 5 while the discharging direction of the ignition electrode unit 11 is disposed on a lattice type burner port 2 of the grill burner combustion surface and provided with an angle (a) not parallel to the arraying direction of the lattice type burner ports 2 and the combustion surface of the grill burner. According to this method, discharge can be effected surely in the gas passage unit whereby the ignition of gas can be facilitated.
