PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a combustor in which flow-out of unburnt mixture gas is prevented or reduced. SOLUTION: An ignition means 21 is disposed above the burner port 23 of a burner body 26 having the burner port 23 and a mixing pipe 25 on the side of outer circumferential arcuate section 24A of the mixing pipe 25. Since the ignition means 21 is disposed above the burner port on the side of outer circumferential arcuate section of the mixing pipe 25 where mixture gas is ejected first, ignition takes place at the igniting section before mixture gas is ejected from other burner port and combustion is started. Since mixture gas ejected from other burner port is combusted immediately upon ejected from the burner port, flow-out of unburnt mixture gas is eliminated and thereby flow-out of noxious HC can be prevented.
