PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture piles provided with superior static frock filling properties and formed of a polyolefin resin by forming an electro-deposit film formed of anyone of inorganic salts, a surface active agent and a silicon compound or a composite of them on the surfaces of fibers composed of olefin resin. SOLUTION: An electro-deposit film formed of anyone of inorganic salts, a surface active agent and a silicon compound or a composite of them is formed on the surfaces of fibers composed of an olefin resin. The fibers are composed of polypropylene, and the pretreatment of immersing the fibers in a solution composed of at least one kind of sulfone compound selected out of the group consting of a sulfone compound of a 4,4-dihidroxyphenyl sulfone-formaldehyde condensate, a sulfone compound of a phenol-formaldehyde condensate and a sulfonate compound of a phenol-benzyl alcohol condensate, tannin or modified olefin resin prior to the formation of the electro-deposit film on the surfaces of fibers.
