PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain in high yield a carbamatoorganosilane useful as e.g. a raw material for insecticides, etc., without forming byproducts by reaction between an aminoorganosilane, urea and an alcohol under specified conditions in an agitation kettle cascade. SOLUTION: This carbamatoorganosilane of formula IV is obtained by reaction (i) in a single step, in an agitation kettle cascade, between an aminoorganosilane of formula I (R1 is an alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or the like; R2 to R4 are each an alkyl, cycloalkyl, siloxy or the like), urea, and an alcohol of formula II (R5 is an alkyl, cycloalkyl or the like) at 150-250 deg.C and 7-40 bar, or (ii) in two steps, in a distillation reactor, by reaction between the aminoorganosilane and urea at 100-130 deg.C and 0.7-1.5 bar (absolute) in an alcohol as solvent to form an ureaorganosilane of formula III as intermediate which, in turn, is reacted with the alcohol at 150-250 and 7-40 bar.
