PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the construction and prevent a leakage accident and breakage of a sprinkler head by providing a header unit in which a check valve, an opening and closing valve open-controlled in the event of a fire, a current water detector, and a header connectable of a plurality of sprinkler pipings are mutually connected. SOLUTION: In a sprinkler header unit 30, the secondary side of a current water detector 34 is connected to the inlet port of a header 35, the secondary side of an electric valve 33 is connected to the primary side of the current water detector 34, and the secondary side of a check valve 32 is connected to the primary side of the electric valve 33. Plugs are mounted on the outlet ports 36a-36c of the header 35 to block them, a testing feed pipe is connected to the primary side of the check valve 32, and water of a prescribed pressure is supplied thereto. At this time, the electric valve 33 is laid in the closed state to check the presence of draining from a drain port 37. A plug is then mounted on the drain port 37 to block it, and the electric valve 33 is opened to check the presence of leakage from each connection part. Thereafter, the test feed pipe is removed, the plug of the drain port 37 is removed for draining, and the electric valve 33 is closed.
