The invention relates to a security door (10) having a first set of parallel, spaced-apart elongate members (12) and a second set of parallel, spaced-apart elongate members (14) connected to one another to form a lattice-work barrier which is movable between a contracted, open condition (A) and an expanded, closed condition (B). The elongate members (12, 14) are connected to one another with connectors (16), each of which includes a first clip member (26) for engaging one of the first set of elongate members (12), a second clip member (28) for engaging one of the second set of elongate members (14), a spacer (30) for spacing the first and second clip members from one another, and a fastener (32, 34) for fastening the first and second clip members together so that they are pivotable relative to one another. The connectors (16) and the elongate members (12, 14) are interlockable with one another so as to prevent the clip members from sliding along the lengths of the elongate members, and the clip members (26, 28) are arranged to conceal the fasteners (32, 34) when the connectors are connected to the first and second sets of elongate members. |
