PURPOSE: To provide an electronic musical instrument, using a physical model sound source which is easy to be played for a beginner and has expression power for an expert. CONSTITUTION: On a keyboard 4, normal musical performance information is inputted. With a joy stick 5, special musical performance information is inputted which is characteristic in a physical model sound source 1 like breathing pressure information and embouchure information. This special musical performance information is processed by a processor 6 and corrected to be in a proper range, and then inputted to the physical model sound source 1. A level detector 15 and a frequency detector 16 detect the level and frequency of the musical sound signal generated by the physical model sound source 1. A skill decision unit 2 decides the skill of a player on the basis of information such as the input musical performance information from the keyboard 4 and joy stick 5 and the input frequency information and level information from the level detector 15 and frequency detector 16. A selector 10 selects a processing table to be supplied to the processor 6 on the basis of the skill information. A processing table which is lower and lower in the degree of processing as the skill is higher and higher, is supplied to input musical performance information which is close to the input information to the physical model sound source 1. |
