PURPOSE: A device is provided to prevent the inflow of defrosting heat into a freezing cavity in a defrosting mode by opening an air blowing aperture formed in a louver insulating material while supplying cooled air and by closing the air blowing aperture while defrosting. CONSTITUTION: Entire system in a refrigerator is turned off while operating a defrosting heater(170) for eliminating frost attached on an evaporator(160). Then, a cooling chamber(100) is heated by the defrosting heat emitted from the defrosting heater. Then, the defrosting heat is convected to the upper side of the evaporator. When the defrosting heat reaches a certain temperature, a filling material in an activated space is rapidly expanded. And, a piston installed in a cylinder(150) is slid to the front end side of the cylinder along a gliding space by the expanding force of the filling material. Therefore, an operating rod(152) fixed in the cylinder pushes a sealing material(154) toward an air blowing aperture(122). Thus, the air blowing aperture is completely closed by the sealing material. And, the defrosting heat elevated to the upper side of the cooling chamber is not flowed into the inside of a freezing chamber(F).
