APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING COLD AIR OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling cold air of a refrigerator is provided to supply residual cold air of a freezing chamber to a refrigerating chamber when the temperature of the refrigerating chamber rises by opening a door of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(600) decides if the temperature of a refrigerating chamber(R) is higher than the set range and transmits control signals to a solenoid valve(200) and a fan motor(400) respectively. The solenoid valve is turned on by the control signals and opens a connecting duct(300) by pulling an isolation plate(210) upward. Then, the fan motor rotates a ventilating fan(410) to absorb cold air in a freezing chamber(F) and to ventilate the air to the refrigerating chamber. The cold air in the freezing chamber is forcibly ventilated and discharged to plural branched outlets. On the contrary, the microcomputer does not output control signals if the temperature of the refrigerating chamber falls lower than the reference range with the cold air from the freezing chamber. Thereby, the fan motor and the solenoid valve are stopped. The isolation plates descend downward and isolate the cold air by closing the connecting duct.
