PURPOSE: Vinyl ether functional organopolysiloxanes and their use in radiation curable silicone are provided to use as release coating compositions, which are especially suitable for release of pressure sensitive adhesives. CONSTITUTION: A method of making vinyl ether functional organopolysiloxanes is disclosed. Radiation curable silicone composition comprising the vinyl ether functional organopolysiloxane obtained by the method, a cationic photoinitiator, a free radical photoinitiator and dodecylphenol are also disclosed.
