<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid collision with a signal of other channels by notifying a mobile station of the relative value of time alignment quantity from a base station when noncoincidence occurs in tiem alignment designation value between the mobile station and the base station. SOLUTION: A mobile station sends an up traffic channel(TCH) to a base station in time alignment quantity that is designated by a down synchronous burst(SB) 3 of a synchronous establishment sequence. The base station calculates deviation from reference timing of the up TCH and notifies the mobile station that transmission timing should be changed by±1 symbol by a down housekeeping channel(RCH) if deviation exists. The mobile station changes transmission timing, adjusting it to notified relative value, i.e., (±1) of±1 symbol. Also, notification is performed again even when the RCH cannot notify it to the mobile station. Thus, the mobile station performs±1 timing adjustment to the current transmission timing by notifying relative value by the base station to the mobile station during synchronous establishment.</p> |
