摘要 PURPOSE: A time slot switching device for a tributary unit(TU) signal and an administrative unit(AU) signal in an optical subscriber transmission system is provided so that time slot switching can be performed in each TU signal level in regard to a few AU signals for connection to the other optical subscriber transmission systems. CONSTITUTION: A time slot switching device for TU and AU signals includes the following units. A clock selecting and monitoring unit(320) receives clock signals, and outputs a normal clock signal. A main control device connecting unit(310) is connected to a main control device. An input parity testing and generating unit(330) receives an AU-3 signal and a parity bit, tests a defect of the data, and generates the parity bit. A data memory unit(340) receives and stores a pay load data of the AU-3 signal and the parity bit according to a data write address, and reads and outputs a data according to a data read address. A control memory unit(350) receives and stores switching control information from the main control device, and provides the data read address to the data memory unit(340). A memory control unit(360) receives the pay load data of the AU signal and the parity bit, transmits them with the data write address to the data memory unit(340), and provides a control data read address to the control memory unit(350). An output parity testing and generating unit(370) outputs the switched data and the parity bit.
