PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body monitoring system which stores picture data around a moving body at the time of movement of the moving body and which enable users to easily and accurately know the condition around the moving body at which position each of picture data shows and which are the picture data representing the condition around the moving body at some position. SOLUTION: This moving body monitor system is provided with a photographing means which is attached to the moving body so that the picture around the moving body can be photographed, a picture taking-in means which takes in picture data from this photographing means, a position data generation means which gives position data of the moving body, a taking-in signal generation means which generates a taking-in signal to instruct the picture taking-in means to take in picture data, and a storage means where picture data taken in by the picture taking-in means and position data which are given by the position data generation means at the time of taking-in are stored while being selected to each other.
