PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to generate a sound with a small press quantity, easily control the sound, and easily play by fitting a screw in the center of a wedge and pressing part of the center of the curved part of a reed. SOLUTION: The reed 2 is fixed to the mouthpiece 1 by using screws 8 and 9 of a ligature 3. The wedge 10 is driven by using the curved part, on the side which contact the reed 2 on the outside that screw holes 4 to 7 of the ligature 3 face. When a screw 11 inside the wedge 10 is clamped, the wedge is caught by the curved part on the side that the reed 2 contacts on the outside that the screw holes 4 to 7 of the ligature 3 face and part of the center of the curved part of the reed 2 is pressed. Pressure is applied to part of the highest position in the center of the curved surface of the reed 2 and then a fulcrum is generated to tense the reed 2; and the vibration of the reed 2 is transmitted from the fulcrum to the screwed wedge 10 and is received by the ligature 3, so that much vibration is transmitted to the mouthpiece 1.
