PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system which can omit the switching of banks every time the data are read and written when the data are transferred between the banks which are sharing a memory space. SOLUTION: In this computer system, a device control circuit a4 activates simultaneously a device A a2 of a transferring bank and a device B a3 of a transferred bank based on the indication of an MPU a1 when the data are transferred from an A bank formed by the device A a2 to a B bank formed by the device B a3, for example. At the same time, the device A a2 is set in a data read-only enable state with the device B a3 set in a data write-only enable state respectively. As a result, the data which are read out of the device A a2 are continuously written into the device B a3.
