PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter for a display which can prevents hindrance of images such as Newton rings and which can simplify the structure and production processes. SOLUTION: This filter consists of a transparent supporting body 1 to be arranged to cover the front face of a display 10, an adhesive layer 5 applied on the counter face of the supporting body 1 to the display 10 and having a rough surface 5a, and a metal mesh 6A adhered to the rough surface 5a of the adhesive layer 5. The rough surface 5a of the adhesive layer 5 exposed through the holes of the metal mesh 6A has an antidazzle effect to prevent hindrance of images.
