PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very epock-making abrasion tester and abrasion test method by which abrasion can be measured through a very simple operation procedure in a short time, the measurement error is reduced, good reproducibility is attained, and the device can be reduced in size. SOLUTION: This abrasion tester 2 for measuring wear resistance of a body to be tested 1 such as a metal material, a ceramic material or the like includes a fixing mechanism 3 for fixing the body to be tester 1 and an injecting mechanism 55 for injecting an injection material 4 obtained by mixing abrasive grains in a liquid to the body 1 fixed to the fixing mechanism 3 with compressed air to decrease the quantity of the body 1.
