PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the visual inspection device which enables an operator to observe the whole object to be inspected as much as possible without selecting a wrong picture to be inspected and hesitating and to securely perform visual inspection without forgetting which part is observed and inspected. SOLUTION: This device comprises an XY table 20 which is mounted with the object P to be inspected and can move in an XY-axial direction, a controller 80 which controls the position of the XY table 20 so that it is programmed to move to inspection parts of the object P in order, CCD cameras 41A, 41B, 41C, and 41D which can pick up images of the object P obliquely in mutually different directions, a selecting device which selects a camera matching an inspection part of the object P out of the cameras 41A to 41D, and a television monitor 90 which displays an oblique view image picked up by the selected camera.
