<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color liquid crystal element capable of making super-high fineness large screen display without delaying a rewriting speed. SOLUTION: The color liquid crystal element is so formed that the number (m) of information electrodes 37, 38 and 39, the number (n) of scanning electrodes 33, 34, 35 and 36 and the minimum number (s) of pixels which may be constituted by using all picture elements 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50 and 51, arranged in the intersection parts of the information electrodes 37, 38 and 39 and the scanning electrodes 33, 34, 35 and 36 satisfy (m+n)≈s<2, by which the number of pieces of the information electrodes 37, 38 and 39 is made smaller than the number of the pixels.</p> |
