PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing device with excellent handling performance by stably supporting a camera main body at a prescribed position so as to stably conduct photographing even when a supporting body supporting the camera main body is moved more or less. SOLUTION: The photographing device is provided with a camera main body 1 and a supporting body 2 that supports it. The supporting body 2 is provided with a drive means that relatively moves the camera main body 1, with a detection means that detects a change in the position of the camera main body 1, and with a control means that controls the drive means to cancel the position change on the basis of the position change information when the detection means detects occurrence of the position change in the camera main body 1.
