<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refer to and use individual information on a user by connecting an individual information storage device that a person using a computer has to a PC(Personal Computer) through an interface. SOLUTION: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) mouse 1 has a password control part 2 in addition to a pointer control part 3 and the password control part 2 is composed of a controller 5 and a nonvolatile memory 6. The nonvolatile memory 6 is connected to the controller 5, whose signal line is connected to an interface 4 for the PC(Personal Computer). Further, the pointer control part 3 is also connected to the interface 4 for the PC. Then the password control part 2 and interface 4 constitute the individual information storage device 9. Consequently, the individual information on the user can be referred to and used.</p> |
