PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent misconnections, when an electrical wire terminal temporarily removed from a terminal block is returned to the original connecting position in the terminal block. SOLUTION: This misconnection preventing tool 10 is constructed of a non- conductive cord material 12, an insulative cap in one end of the cord material 12, and a connection part 16 formed in the other end of the cord material 12 and used as a connection part to a terminal block. When a temporarily removed electrical wire terminal is inserted from the opened end 18 of the insulative cap 14, while the connection part 16 is connected to the terminal block side, a correct connecting relation between the removed electrical wire and the terminal block can be maintained.
