<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which malfunction caused by light is prevented, capacity of voltage applied to pixel electrodes can be increased, and display quality is high, in a liquid crystal device of an active matrix system. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal device is provided with scanning lines 806, signal lines 809, transistors connected to the scanning lines 806 and the signal lines 809 respectively, and pixel electrodes 808 connected to the transistors respectively. The scanning line 806 is covered by a sealed electrode 816 through an insulator, and a region 802 for the transistor channel is covered by the sealed electrode 816 and the signal line 809.</p> |
