PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial-cable connecting terminal which is easy in insertion/assembly operation and enabling an insulator to be surely fixed through simple operation, without being concerrned about the position of a locking mechanism for fixing the insulator in an outer conductor, when the insulator is inserted into the outer conductor. SOLUTION: A contact pin 4 is held on a central axis, flat cut-out zones 10 running parallel to the center axis of an insulator 3 are formed in the upper and lower side surfaces of the substantially cylindrical insulator 3 which is provided with an insertion port 6 in its front surface 3a for inserting a central conductor of a coaxial cable, and flat projecting zones 12 are formed on corresponding inner walls of an outer conductor 2. Elastic tongue pieces 8 are formed by providing incisions 7 on both sides of the cutout zones at the rear end on the enclosure side, and square holes 9 are provided in their middle, while locking projections 13 are provided at corresponding positions of the outer conductor 2.
