<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a QOS protection device with which an active system and a reserve system are changed-over according to quality deterioration, after monitoring a packet arrival situation and transmission guaranteeing QOS(quality of service) is executed. SOLUTION: A protection function part consisting of a fault deterioration detecting part 2 and a change-over executing part 3 is arranged in a node 1, the path fault deterioration detecting part 21 of the detecting part 2 detects the fault deterioration of a section, line or a path from an input packet flow 100, and a packet fault deterioration detecting part 22 detects the fault deterioration of the packet from the input packet flow 100. The detecting part 2 outputs a change-over instruction 101 to the executing part 3 when fault or deterioration is detected by the detecting parts 21 and 22 and permits the executing part 3 to change-over the active system and the reserve system.</p> |
