PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both stable dimensional precision and durability by mixing a thermoplastic resin with rubber or thermoplastic elastomer. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is dissolved in a solvent and 1-100 pts.wt. soluble rubber or thermoplastic elastomer is added little by little and dissolved under stirring with a stirrer. The resin may be any resin soluble in the solvent and polyethylene terephthalate or polybutylene terephthalate resin is, e.g. used. The rubber or elastomer is not limited if it is soluble in the solvent. An ordinarily used resin solvent such as methylene chloride or chlorobenzene may be used as the solvent. The rubber may be any generally used rubber such as natural rubber or isoprene rubber. The thermoplastic elastomer is, e.g. polyester elastomer or ethylene copolymer elastomer.
