PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiotelephone master set that can prevent useless LAN access from a radiotelephone slave set. SOLUTION: This radiotelephone master set with a LAN connection function is provided with a radio transmission reception section 101 that conducts processing relating to radio transmission reception, a communication control section 102 that conducts major data communication processings such as protocol processing, a LAN transmission reception section 103 that conducts processing related to LAN transmission reception, an analog telephone interface section 106 which acts to interface an external analog telephone network, a management section 104 that conducts management processings for the entire set and a display device 105. When the LAN transmission reception section detects an occurrence of a LAN transmission function fault, the communication control section simultaneously informs radiotelephone slave sets possible for radio communication among all radio telephone slave sets registered in the management section 104 about the occurrence of the fault through short-message communication at the detection of the occurrence of the LAN transmission function fault.
