PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and light weight protector for a portable telephone set that can sufficiently protect the case of the portable telephone set and is easily attached and detached and moreover hardly becomes loose. SOLUTION: The protector is provided with corner protection sections 11 that covers the corners 21 of the case of a portable telephone set 2, display panel protection sections 12 that surround the display panel of the portable telephone set and side face protection sections 13 that connect the corner protection sections 11 and the display panel protection sections 12 and cover the side faces of the case of the portable telephone set, these components which are integrally formed by an elastic material.
