PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid laser apparatus, wherein when exciting light is transmitted through a plurality of optical fibers, the irradiated positions in a coloring matter solution resulting from the exciting light beams emitted from respective fibers coincide with each other, and laser oscillation or an amplification characteristic due to excitation from any fiber will be equal to each other by making flat the intensity distribution of the exciting light in the laser medium. SOLUTION: In a liquid laser apparatus, wherein a cell 1 having a slit 3 for enclosing or circulating a laser medium is irradiated with exciting light in a predetermined direction to excite the laser medium so that an excitation region 4 is formed in the slit 3, and at the same time, laser oscillation or amplification is carried out by using the excitation region 4 as a gain medium, the laser apparatus is provided with a waveguide 7 for guiding the exciting light to the laser medium and the emitting surface of the waveguide 7 is made contiguous with the laser medium. |
