PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a media conversion device which enables a user to make comparison of music at a glance even in the case of music by the intricate music and enables even a person unable to read the music to judge the similarity of the music. SOLUTION: When the electronic music for MIDI musical instrument playing of two pieces of the music is inputted to a processor 1, the processor determines the shortest beat in respective pieces of the music and measures the number of beats of the entire part of the music with the respective shortest beats as a unit. Displays 4, 5 have the pixels corresponding to the number of beats over the entire part of the music. A display control section 3 reads the color information corresponding to the scale of the shortest beat from a table 2 and is multi- dimensionally arrayed on the displays 4, 5, by which the music is displayed as a color image.
