PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform that normal detection of by information is not possible providing a control means for actuating a shock detection means when the information abut film is detected by an information detection means. SOLUTION: A microcomputer 1 drives a feeding motor 6 through a feeding motor driving device 5. Thus, a data disk board to which a bar code signal is applied is rotated. Next, a shock detecting device 7 and an acceleration sensor 8 are actuated so as to fetch data from the sensor 8. Then, a DD decoding sequence is started. Namely, the data disk board is rotated, and signals from photoreflectors 3 and 4 are compared to detect the information about the film such as the kind and the sensitivity of the film. Shock data A is measured by the device 7 and compared with a threshold B. When the data A is larger than the threshold B, the DD decoding sequence is redone from the beginning again by deciding that there is a trouble.
