摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a position and a shape to be measured with a pressure wave without contacting and to precisely measure the generation position of the pressure wave and the temperature distribution of the space where the pressure wave is propagated without contacting. SOLUTION: A pressure wave generating device 5 generates pressure waves 5 at known positions on a surface 1 to be measured and a pressure wave detecting device 6 which is installed at an unknown position and made movable individually detects the respective pressure waves 5 propagated from the respective generation positions. After the propagation times of the pressure waves 5 are measured by using propagation time measuring instruments 7 and 8, an arithmetic unit calculates the set position of the pressure wave detecting device 6 according to the propagation times to measure the installation position of the pressure wave detecting device 6 which is unknown and its movement position.
