<p>The unit includes two independent stator sections (100, 200), which are arranged one beside the other. The rotors of the two stator sections are keyed onto the same shaft. The stator sections are fed with multiplicities of voltages (VA, VB), which generate rotary fields (ζA, ζB) having opposite directions. The angular position of the shaft is adjusted by changing the phase offset of said voltages, while the speed of said shaft is controlled by the adjustment of the frequencies of said voltages.</p> |
