A hub assembly (58) having a plurality of hollow open-ended spokes (60 , 1-5) is rotatably mounted to the tube extender (56). If used with a brush floor cleaning apparatus a portion of each spoke extends into and terminates within a radial passage (42, 1-5) in the brush (32).
