The holder (1) has a fastening foot which can be adapted to a fence insulator and which supports at least one head holder (30) for the cable. The head holder has two restricting arms (32, 33) which are spaced from each other to form a socket chamber (31) the fastening foot can have wire slits. The socket chamber of the head holder can have a socket for bands and a socket for cables.
