PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffering structure for sole of shoe with which lightness in weight and buffering property can be exhibited and durability is improved. SOLUTION: Concerning this buffering structure for sole of shoe, a bottom plate shaped part 1 arranged on the ground side and an upper plate shaped part 2 arranged on the sole side are arranged so as to mutually face. In a space S formed between the bottom plate shaped part 1 and the upper plate shaped part 2, a lot of rod-shaped or wall-shaped buffering elements 3A and 3B are provided. A lot of buffering elements 3A and 3B are provided with upward buffering elements 3A integrally formed on the bottom plate shaped part 1 and protruded from the bottom plate shaped part 1 toward the upper plate shaped part 2 and downward buffering elements 3B integrally formed on the upper plate shaped part 2 and protruded from the upper plate shaped part 2 to the bottom plate shaped part 1.
