PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the tracking of carried article rightly and improve the carrying efficiency by detecting a sample when the signal of a tracking sensor is switched and carrying out the tracking movement by comparing the status with the check pattern accumulated to a process controller advancely. SOLUTION: The status (j=4) of the amount of passed N times of a table drive state is read out and the check pattern of i=1-ON accumulated in a process controller is compared with the status of the amount of N times. It is confirmed along with the i th check pattern that the table is in driving until just before the table drive becomes OFF and the tracking movement of the tip of a steel plate becomes OK by judging that the tip of the steel plate passes the tracking sensor surely. When the tail end of the steel plate passes the tracking sensor and the signal is switched from ON to OFF (digital signal is changed 1→0), the signal of the status of the table drive becomes OFF (stop) (digital signal 0).
