PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject pharmaceutical preparation substantially free from quality change with time by including mequitazine and acetaminophen, or the like and granulating one or both of these ingredients so as to prevent decline in mequitazine content and secure mequitazine stability even after long- term preservation of the pharmaceutical preparation. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation is obtained by including (A) mequitazine and (B) at least one ingredient selected from acetaminophen, epherines such as dL-methylephedrine hydrochloride and vitamin B1 such as thiamine nitrate with the ingredient(s) A and/or B in the form of granules. The pharmaceutical preparation is produced, for example, by separately mixing and pulverizing the respective ingredients A and B, followed by granulating the resultant respective ingredients A and B separately, by such a means as extrusive granulation, and then mixing the granulated ingredients A and B together. By the way, the ingredients A and B can be formulated with a medicament such as caffeine, vehicle, disintegrant, or the like, respectively. |
