PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a poil foramen constriction agent capable of persistently constricting poil foramens to fundamentally make them inconspicuous by using a polysaccharide sulfate as an active component. SOLUTION: The objective agent contains a polysaccharide sulfate (preferably dextran sulfate, fucoidan, chondroitinsulfuric acid, heparin, carrageenan and especially preferably a polysaccharide sulfate derived from Fucus distichus) as an active component. The molecular weight of the polysaccharide sulfate is preferably <=500,000 and the content of sulfuric acid in the polysaccharide sulfate is preferably 10-45 wt.%. The amount of the polysaccharide sulfate compounded in the poil foramen constriction agent is preferably 0.0005-10 wt.% and, in the case of using Fucus distichus extract, the compounding amount is preferably 0.001-5 wt.% in terms of solid. A cosmetic effective for making poil foramens inconspicuous can be produced by including the constriction agent in an amount of preferably 0.0005-5 wt.%. The cosmetic is preferably used as a preparation for external use for skin and applied to a part having conspicuous poil foramens such as the periphery of nose.
