PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit hand trouble due to the temperature of hot water and to easily and safely perform the work of discharging the hot water by allowing little heat of the hot water to be transmitted from a lid to hands when a cup is tilted to discharge the hot water in the cup from outlets. SOLUTION: An instant noodle container includes a cup 1 having an opening and accommodating instant noodles and a lid 4 covering the opening of the cup 1 and having outlets 5 in a part of its peripheral edge for discharging hot water in the cup 1 and air holes 6 in other parts for admitting air into the cup 1. The lid 4 comprises a rigid plate shaped member 10 provided with a first notched part 12 through which the outlets 5 in the lid 4 are exposed from above the lid 4 covering the cup 1 and a second notched part 13 through which the air holes in the lid 4 are exposed and communicated with outside air, and holding surface parts 11 which, when held by fingers along with the bottom face of the cup 1, enables grasping of the entire cup 1, are formed on the right and left sides of a line connecting the notched parts 12, 13. |
